riley's skiing saga

So this is how the ski trip started for Riley. Ski boots feel wierd and it was cold - and there was snow everywhere!!! But then Shelb and Nate started skiing and having some fun. After watching for a little while.........

of course, she wanted to ski! Mom went back down the ski lift - a COLD but beautiful ride. At one point I went through a pocket of snow - I thought my eyeballs were going to freeze and there was frost on my eyelashes and brows! I got to the bottom and got Riley's skis and rode back up to the top - through the snow pocket again - but anything for my baby!!

Man was she happy when she got all geared up!

Then on to meet the ski instructer - man is he handsome!!! She had a blast and was ready to ski all day!

By the end she wanted to go on her own - she was ready for that, but Mom and Dad weren't! Maybe next time......
