Today I forgot and tried to run the washing machine, dryer and dishwasher all at the same time. I plugged in the iron and came back a few minutes later to run it over my shirt and wondered why it wasn't hot - down to the basement and outside to flip the breaker - a trip I make almost daily. I opted to keep on the washing machine and dishwasher - we'll see if I can iron my shirt too!
Riley woke up this morning with a bloody lip and heartbroken. I'm not sure what happened to her in the night, but she was crying because she said that we took all her "tightings" away. Neither of my girls likes to wear pants or jeans - ever - it's skirts and dresses all the way. Ri loves both leggings and tights, so she has come up with an easier word to cover them both - tightings. Anyway, she took me to her room to check out her drawer because all her tightings were gone - she said that we gave them all to the baby. Of course they were all there, so we got a morning smile out of her after all. What a night for the poor girl - and are we already having new baby issues?!?! Dreams are crazy things!
Baby update - it is a girl and just this week and I am starting to feel her move around a lot! I can't wait for the kids to be able to feel it too!

totally wish I could rock leggings and a skirt like little girls can!
ReplyDeleteKids have the most vivid dreams, and the tears can be so sad! I hate when I find Drew sitting up on the top bunk crying, and wonder how long he was doing that until I got there!
ReplyDeleteTHats funny that the girls won't wear jeans, I am sure that will change someday, but in the meantine, tightings are pretty dang cute!
