Snow Day

We are having some crazy weather here. Saturday we had a picnic and spent all day outside in T-shirts. The weather was beautiful, and I even had some windows open in the house while I was cleaning. It was a great day! I picked out springy outfits for the kids to wear to church on Sunday and we all went to bed happy and worn out from a great spring day.

Sunday morning we woke up to this!! I was completely shocked!

Monday the snow was almost melted, and yesterday it was all gone, just cold! But once again we woke up to a big surpise this morning!! So much snow that I kept the kids home from school. After lunch some friends stopped by to play and we made the biggest snowballs!

These were some heavy snowballs!!

Ri was way more interested in snacking on the snow than in the manual labor.

Then we gave the kids spray bottles filled with water and food coloring and let them loose.

The relsult: The biggest hippie snowbunny ever! What a fun day!
